There is a man I am in love with, with whom I feel a deep, soul connection, and my intuition tells me that we are meant to be together. The problem is that, right now, he doesn’t agree with me, and he made this perfectly clear this week by bringing his new girlfriend to a gathering he knew I’d be attending.
Particularly since I consider him a friend and he knew of my feelings for him.
It also triggered strong emotions from an earlier experience I had – my first experience of having a boyfriend when I was 13 years old. The situation is practically identical.
In fact I have worked this experience a lot in Resonance Repatterning® sessions, particularly over the last two years, and while the charge has lessened because of all the work I’ve done, it was still excruciatingly painful when it got triggered this time.
My good friend and colleague, Susan, recommended that I look into The Presence Process. She had mentioned it before and I had got the book back then, but I hadn’t started reading it yet. My intuition told me that this was the right time, so I picked up the book and began reading that very night. A couple of days later, I started Week One.
I won’t go into a summary of the book or a description of the process here, as there are many who have done so already. But I thought it might be valuable to document my own journey through this process. I have certainly appreciated the two blog posts I found when I searched online (here and here). I also found this Q&A with Michael Brown himself enlightening.
As I write this, I am three days into The Presence Process and finding it hugely challenging, yet at the same time, liberating and hopeful. I have been feeling heartbroken since ‘the incident’, but now it seems like there’s a purpose to my heartbreak and that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Resonance Repatterning® has brought me a long way on my journey, and I could not have arrived where I am today without it, but I am pleased to have found another tool to add to my toolbelt that will support me in my growth and learning, and in raising my consciousness.
I have only just began this process, so I cannot comment on the results yet, but the book itself is excellent and will have you looking at yourself and your life from a new perspective.
If you’ve read the book or have completed The Presence Process yourself, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
